About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Qlik Sense Architect / Developer to design and deliver enterprise analytics solutions. Your work will cover data warehouses, data lakes, advanced analytics and interactive dashboards. You'll own the Qlik architecture, from data modeling and platform governance to user-facing visualizations. You'll work closely with data engineers, business stakeholders and leadership to turn complex data into clear, useful insights.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, design and deploy scalable Qlik Sense solutions (Enterprise on Windows and/or Qlik Cloud)
Build optimized Qlik data models (star schemas, link tables, concatenated facts) on top of data warehouses and data lakes
Develop advanced load scripts using incremental loads, QVD layering (extract, transform, presentation), set analysis and complex expressions
Design interactive, high-performance dashboards, self-service apps and executive scorecards that follow UX and visualization best practices
Integrate Qlik with enterprise data sources such as RDBMS, cloud warehouses (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Synapse), data lakes (S3, ADLS, HDFS), APIs and flat files
Enable advanced analytics through Qlik AutoML, server-side extensions (Python/R), what-if analysis, forecasting and predictive models
Set up and administer the Qlik platform: QMC, security rules, section access, streams/spaces, reload tasks, multi-node architecture and monitoring
Define development standards, reusable templates, master items and governance frameworks
Tune app and server performance (data reduction, memory optimization, calculation efficiency)
Lead migrations from QlikView to Qlik Sense, or from client-managed Qlik to Qlik Cloud
Mentor developers, review work, and create technical and user documentation
Required Skills & Qualifications
[6+] years in BI/analytics, with at least [4+] years of hands-on Qlik Sense development and [2+] years in an architect or lead role
Strong knowledge of Qlik scripting, data modeling, set analysis and advanced expressions
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling and data lake architectures
Advanced SQL skills across databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL
Experience with Qlik Sense administration, security (section access) and deployment
Proven ability to design intuitive dashboards for business and executive audiences
Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Statistics or a related field
Good to Have
Experience with Qlik Data Integration tools (Qlik Replicate, Qlik Compose, Talend)
Knowledge of NPrinting, Qlik Alerting, Qlik Application Automation and mashups/extensions (JavaScript, Qlik APIs, Nebula.js)
Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data stacks (Databricks, Snowflake)
Python or R for statistical and predictive analytics
Familiarity with other BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and data governance or catalog tools
Qlik Sense Business Analyst, Data Architect or System Administrator certifications
