Role Summary: Assistant Design Engineer (Hydraulics Team)
Location: Nagpur, Maharashtra, India
Employment Type: Full-time, office-based (This is a desk job - no field/site deployment)
Working Schedule: 6 days a week, every 4th Saturday is off.
Experience: 0–2 years
Salary: ₹35,000–₹42,000 per month, depending on experience and suitability
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and revise detailed engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
Interpret hydraulic design calculations for water resource and civil infrastructure projects.
Interpret survey data, technical specifications and project inputs.
Prepare design reports, quantity calculations, cost estimates and technical documentation.
Coordinate with senior engineers to resolve design issues and deliver assigned tasks on time, with accuracy, and complying with applicable standards.
Essential Qualifications & Skills
B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering; graduates from government or govt-affiliated colleges preferred.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
0–2 years of relevant civil engineering design experience.
Understanding of engineering drawings, technical specifications and standards.
Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
M.E./M.Tech. in Structural Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.
Familiarity with HEC-RAS would be an advantage.
Proficiency in E-Survey or other pipe network design software.
Relevant experience, internships or academic projects in water resource infrastructure, hydraulic structures or industrial projects.
Compensation and Benefits
Monthly take-home salary: ₹35,000–₹42,000.
Annual Diwali bonus.
Annual salary increments: Typically 5%–15%, depending on individual performance and company performance.
Leave entitlement: 12 personal leaves and 1 flexible festival leave annually.
Annual group tour.
Annual field visit offering exposure to engineering projects and on-ground engineering practices.
Probation period: 3 months.**
