Account Manager - Delhi (contractual)

As an Account Manager, you will own the relationship and day-to-day operational performance of a portfolio of 4–6 bus partners operating a combined fleet of 50–60 buses. You are the primary point of contact between FlixBus and your partners, accountable for ensuring every trip meets our operational and quality benchmarks. This is a hands-on, field-facing role that blends relationship management, performance tracking, and on-ground problem solving.
About The Role
Partner & account management
Serve as the main liaison for your assigned bus partners, building strong, trust-based working relationships.
Onboard new partners and their fleets, ensuring they understand and adhere to FlixBus standards, processes, and brand guidelines.
Conduct regular performance reviews with partners and drive continuous improvement plans.
Operational performance
Own all operational KPIs for your portfolio, including on-time performance (punctuality), trip completion, cancellations, and service reliability.
Monitor daily operations and proactively resolve disruptions such as breakdowns, delays, and route deviations.
Coordinate with internal teams (network planning, customer service, control tower) to keep operations running smoothly.
Service quality & compliance
Ensure buses meet standards for cleanliness, on-board amenities, and overall condition.
Monitor and improve driver and crew behaviour, professionalism, and passenger interaction.
Ensure partners comply with safety norms, licensing, documentation, and regulatory requirements.
Issue resolution & reporting
Act quickly on breakdowns and service failures to minimise passenger impact, coordinating recovery and communication.
Investigate recurring issues, identify root causes, and implement preventive measures.
Track, analyse, and report performance data; share actionable insights with partners and internal stakeholders.
About You
Minimum 3 years of experience in an account management, operations, or partner/vendor management role.
Graduate (Bachelor's degree) in any discipline — mandatory.
Strong relationship-management and stakeholder-communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret operational metrics and act on them.
Comfortable with field work, on-ground problem solving, and managing multiple partners simultaneously.
Willingness to travel locally and be available for time-sensitive operational issues.
