Data Modeler / Analytics Engineer

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Analytics, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
Overall Experience: 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, analytics engineering, business intelligence, or enterprise data platforms.
Core Modeling Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in dimensional and relational data modeling.
Platform Expertise: Practical experience designing enterprise-scale models in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL Server, or comparable cloud data platforms.
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills and a demonstrated track record of converting business requirements into production-ready data models.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, documentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Platform certification.
BI & Governance: Experience with Power BI semantic modeling, DAX, calculation groups, and enterprise metric governance.
Metadata & Lineage: Experience with Microsoft Purview or equivalent metadata catalog and lineage tooling.
Data Architecture: Knowledge of Data Vault, data mesh, master data management (MDM), and domain-oriented data products.
DevOps & Modernization: Experience supporting cloud migrations, EDW modernization, CI/CD, Git, and Dev/Test/Prod deployment workflows.
