Role purpose
You will own how The Human Loops measures itself. That means tracking internal team performance and project metrics every day, and giving our teams direct, daily feedback on where they stand against their targets.
You will also help every team set up the systems, logic and standards behind their reporting, so numbers mean the same thing across projects and internal deadlines are tracked, not remembered.
We need someone independent who understands the work and gets things done on their own. This is not a role for someone who needs to be handheld.
Key responsibilities
Internal performance tracking
Track daily output and quality for every team - field collection, processing, video QC and annotation - across all three shifts.
Maintain per-person and per-team metrics against targets, and spot underperformance or overperformance early.
Run the daily scoreboard so leadership sees where every team stands each morning.
Daily feedback to teams
Give each team lead and shift in-charge daily feedback on their numbers: what hit target, what missed, and why.
Help teams understand the right target metrics for their work and how they are calculated.
Escalate repeated misses to the Project Manager with data, not opinions.
Project metrics and internal deadlines
Track each client project end to end: hours collected, processed, QC pass/reject rates and hours delivered against commitments.
Maintain a live view of internal deadlines across projects and flag slippage before it happens.
Cross-check numbers between teams and resolve mismatches the same day.
Systems, logic and standards
Help teams set up the trackers, formulas and logic they need to report properly.
Define reporting standards across projects: common metric definitions, formats, naming conventions and cut-off times.
Build and improve templates and dashboards, and work with the tech team to automate recurring reports.
Admin data support
Provide clean attendance, roster and output data to HR for payroll and to operations for weekly field payouts.
Who we are looking for
Must-have
3–5 years in MIS, performance tracking or operations reporting, ideally in a shift-based or operations-heavy business: BPO, logistics, manufacturing or data services.
You have built reporting systems from scratch, not just maintained ones you inherited.
Advanced Excel or Google Sheets: pivot tables, XLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, data validation, dashboards.
Comfortable giving teams direct feedback on their numbers every day, and holding them to targets.
Fluent in Hindi and English
Discretion with confidential client, payroll and staff data.
How You Work
Independent. You understand the work, figure out what is needed and get it done without being handheld.
You build systems, not one-off fixes.
Accurate under pressure. You check your numbers before they go out.
Good-to-have
Power BI, Looker Studio or Google Apps Script.
Familiarity with Notion and Slack.
What success looks like
First 15 days: Understands every team's workflow, targets and data sources. Takes over the daily scoreboard with no missed mornings.
By 30 days: Owns every report in the table above. Daily feedback reaches each team lead on time, and mismatches are flagged within 24 hours.
By 45 days: Common reporting standards are live across projects. At least two recurring reports are templated or automated, and leadership trusts the numbers without re-checking them.
