Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrical Drafter role based in Mumbai. The Electrical Drafter will prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts for industrial weighing systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and relevant standards. Responsibilities include converting design concepts into accurate technical drawings, updating and revising electrical plans as projects evolve, and coordinating with electrical engineers, mechanical designers, and production teams. The role involves reviewing designs for accuracy, identifying potential issues, and ensuring documentation is clear and complete for installation and manufacturing. The Electrical Drafter will also maintain organized drawing records, support quality checks, and collaborate closely with the engineering team to improve design efficiency and consistency.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Electrical Design and Electrical Engineering to interpret requirements and develop practical design solutions.
Solid understanding of Electricity and electrical principles to ensure safe and efficient system layouts.
Proficiency in Technical Drawing and preparation of Electrical Plans using CAD or similar drafting tools.
Ability to read and interpret engineering documents, specifications, and industrial standards.
Relevant technical diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Attention to detail, accuracy in documentation, and strong organizational skills.
Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams on-site.
Prior experience in industrial or manufacturing environments, especially with electromechanical systems, is an advantage.
