Role Description The Senior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for leading the design process across residential and commercial projects. Daily tasks include developing design concepts, space plans, and layouts; preparing detailed drawings and presentations; and selecting materials, finishes, and FF&E in line with project requirements and budgets. The role involves coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is accurately executed on site, and overseeing quality standards throughout the project lifecycle. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, manage client communications, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule while maintaining Gruhanza’s design standards.
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate client needs into cohesive design concepts.
Expert-level skills in Space Planning, creating functional and aesthetically pleasing layouts for various types of spaces.
Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and detailed documentation for execution and coordination with project teams.
Experience in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, equipment, and finishes that align with project budgets and design goals.
Relevant degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar), and presentation tools.
Strong project management, time management, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication abilities, with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Prior experience in leading end-to-end interior projects; experience with luxury or high-end interiors is an advantage.
