Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in the Greater Bhopal Area. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into clear, engaging content for educational and promotional projects, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and academic objectives. Daily tasks include organizing footage, selecting sound and music, applying transitions and effects, performing basic color correction and grading, and preparing videos for various digital platforms. The role also involves collaborating with authors, editors, and the marketing team to understand project requirements, creating simple motion graphics and visual assets, and maintaining an efficient file management and backup system. The Video Editor will contribute ideas to improve video storytelling, support content campaigns, and help uphold the visual standards of AGPH Books.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production for educational and promotional content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to enhance visual quality and maintain consistent look and feel.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, transitions, and simple visual elements.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or equivalents).
Basic understanding of audio editing, sound syncing, and export settings for web and social media platforms.
Strong attention to detail, visual storytelling ability, and time-management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate clearly about creative choices.
