Role Description The Senior Chemist will work full time on-site near Raipur, leading laboratory-based activities to develop, test, and optimize agricultural chemical products. This role includes planning and conducting experiments, performing analytical testing, and interpreting data to guide formulation improvements and new product development. Knowlge to run GAS Chromatograph and HPLC is must. The Senior Chemist will oversee quality control procedures, ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations, and maintain accurate documentation of methods and results. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve mentoring junior staff, collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in research and development projects, and contributing to technical reports and regulatory submissions.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Laboratory Skills and experience working with chemical formulations, instruments, and standard operating procedures.
Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise, including familiarity with validation, calibration, and adherence to regulatory and safety standards.
Candidates should possess robust Analytical Skills to design experiments, interpret data, solve technical problems, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
Candidates should possess Research and Development (R&D) capabilities, including project planning, method development, and innovation in agricultural chemistry.
Candidates should possess Research skills, such as literature review, documentation, and preparation of technical reports and presentations.
Advanced degree in Chemistry or a related field (Master’s or PhD preferred), with several years of relevant industry or laboratory experience.
Knowledge of agricultural chemicals, soil science, crop protection, or related domains is highly beneficial.
Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, and readiness to mentor junior colleagues.
