Role Description The RTL Design Engineer will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and integrating RTL modules for complex digital designs, ensuring functional correctness, performance, and scalability. Day-to-day activities include translating specifications into synthesizable RTL, collaborating with front-end architects and verification teams, running lint, CDC, and synthesis checks, and addressing design issues identified during verification and integration. The engineer will work closely with physical design, DFT, and FPGA prototyping teams to ensure smooth handoff and design closure. Documentation of design intent, participation in design reviews, and continuous improvement of design flows and methodologies are integral to this role. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Bengaluru South.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong Design Engineering skills with a focus on digital design and RTL development.
Candidates should possess relevant Electrical Engineering knowledge, including digital logic, microarchitecture, and semiconductor fundamentals.
Candidates should possess Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tool proficiency, such as industry-standard EDA tools for synthesis, linting, CDC, and static analysis.
Candidates should possess experience in Product Design, including translating requirements into robust, testable, and maintainable RTL architectures.
Candidates should possess the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (verification, physical design, DFT, FPGA) and communicate technical concepts clearly.
Experience with Verilog/SystemVerilog, timing analysis, low-power design techniques, and industry-standard verification methodologies (e.g., UVM) is highly beneficial.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
