Legal Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
Title- Manager- Legal
Exp- 9 to 12 years
Location- Gurgaon
Lead the organization's legal and ethics compliance functions by ensuring alignment with applicable laws, corporate policies, and business objectives. Provide legal advisory support, oversee contract management, drive ethics and compliance initiatives, and promote employee awareness on legal and regulatory matters.
EXPERIENCE
9+ years of legal experience.
Must have corporate legal experience during the immediately preceding 5 years.
Experience in a multinational corporate environment is preferred.
Education
Law graduate from a reputed institution such as NLU, University of Delhi, or an equivalent recognized law school.
Additional qualifications from institutions such as Symbiosis or other reputed universities will be an advantage.
TECHNICAL & OTHER SKILLS
Expert knowledge of ethics and compliance management, including policy development aligned with Indian laws and global corporate requirements.
Strong practical understanding of Competition Law, Anti-Bribery Laws, and Data Protection Laws.
Basic understanding of employment-related legislation.
Ability to prepare and deliver effective training materials for ethics and compliance awareness programs.
Knowledge of employee engagement initiatives with the ability to develop creative participation programs.
Experience in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and legal documents, including IT and software service agreements.
Proficiency in conducting legal research and translating legal requirements into practical business recommendations.
Basic understanding of Microsoft 365 tools and platforms, including Forms and Power Apps.
