Registered Nurse- Behavioral Health: High Acuity Unit

Location: Henry Ford Jackson
Schedule: 3-12 Hour Shifts from 7pm-7:30am; Weekend and holiday requirement
Henry Ford Jackson Hospital is a 420-bed, Magnet® designated, Level II Trauma Center. Acute care services are complemented by more than 40 community-based outpatient service locations. We are proud to provide a broad range of specialty services, from cardiac surgery and minimally invasive structural heart procedures to neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and total joint replacement. We also offer full home health care and hospice services.
Role Overview
As a Registered Nurse at Henry Ford Health, you will play a vital role in leading the coordination and delivery of compassionate, quality patient care. You will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, ensuring that patients and their families receive the support and education they need. What You Will Do
Provide leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and their families.
Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
What You Will Need
Required Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN preferred.
Minimum of 1 year RN experience in any inpatient or behavioral health/mental health setting.
