The Role
The Research team produces SANOR's published research on the private healthcare market, including market reports, benchmarking studies, rankings, and industry analyses. It conducts primary research through surveys, market studies, and interviews, and combines it with secondary research. This work informs SANOR's advisory engagements and the decisions of operators and investors across the sector.
As a Healthcare Research Analyst, you will conduct original research on the private healthcare market and author the reports that define SANOR's point of view. You will design and carry out primary research, combine it with rigorous secondary research, and draw clear conclusions you can support with evidence. You will work with the Research Editor on methodology and quality, and with the content and AI search teams to bring your findings to a wider audience.
What You'll Do
Develop a research agenda on private healthcare markets, covering demand, competition, pricing, patient behavior, and commercial performance.
Design and conduct primary research, including surveys, market studies, expert and operator interviews, and benchmarking studies.
Conduct secondary research across industry data, company disclosures, and published sources, and assess the quality of each source.
Author market reports, industry analyses, benchmarks, and rankings that present clear findings and implications for decision-makers.
Present research so that publications, analysts, and AI search platforms can cite it accurately.
Brief SANOR's advisory team on findings relevant to client engagements.
Work with the content team to translate research into formats for broader audiences.

SANOR research is cited by leading business, trade, and healthcare publications.
SANOR's reports and benchmarks become reference points for operators and investors in private healthcare.
Research releases generate qualified inquiries and inform SANOR's advisory work.

What You'll Bring

Minimum requirements
3+ years of experience in healthcare business intelligence, healthcare market research, or healthcare industry analysis.
A record of published research or analysis that you can share.
Hands-on experience designing and conducting primary research, including surveys, interviews, or benchmarking studies.
Strong quantitative skills and a sound understanding of research methodology.
Experience writing clear, precise research for expert or executive readers.
Preferred qualifications
Experience covering private or consumer-pay healthcare, such as aesthetics, weight management, longevity, or specialty clinics.
Familiarity with how research is surfaced and cited by AI search and answer platforms.
Working at SANOR
This is a full-time remote role. You will work directly with SANOR's research team and leadership, and you will own a defined body of research and be accountable for its quality and impact. We set clear expectations, review performance against agreed outcomes, and give regular feedback. As SANOR grows, the scope of each role grows with it.
Pay
The annual base salary range for this role is US$85,000–US$120,000 for candidates based in the United States. The final salary will be based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and location. Candidates based outside the United States may request the range for their location during the interview process.
