Salesforce Senior Solution Consultant: Business Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Salesforce Senior Solution Consultant: Business Analyst based in the United States.
This fully remote role combines solution architecture, business analysis, consulting, and client advisory responsibilities across complex public-sector technology engagements. You will shape solutions from early presales and discovery through implementation, helping federal customers translate business and mission needs into scalable Salesforce-enabled strategies. The role requires strong expertise in requirements gathering, process design, solution architecture, and translating complex concepts for diverse stakeholders. You will guide program vision, identify risks, improve delivery approaches, and ensure solutions remain maintainable and aligned with long-term objectives. You will also contribute to strategic initiatives that strengthen consulting capabilities and knowledge across the broader practice. Accountabilities
Lead solution strategy across presales and delivery, shaping, scoping, and aligning complex engagements while advising federal customers on approaches that support long-term program success.
Drive architectural strategy from initial solutioning through execution, ensuring programs have clear visions, scalable designs, and technology strategies aligned with measurable business and mission outcomes.
Review and improve project and program direction, delivery approaches, and key artifacts to keep initiatives on track while ensuring solutions are extendable, maintainable, and aligned with future-state needs.
Facilitate discovery sessions, elicit and document business requirements, develop user stories, and produce detailed functional and system designs that translate stakeholder needs into actionable Salesforce solutions.
Analyze current-state business processes and system environments, identify capability gaps, and develop target-state designs, process improvements, wireframes, and supporting documentation using tools such as process-flow diagrams, UML, and sequence diagrams.
Provide expert guidance on Salesforce configuration and architectural strategy, including recommendations for emerging technologies and platform capabilities that can increase customer and organizational value.
Identify, assess, and proactively manage delivery risks, taking ownership of issues through resolution and helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to customers and colleagues, presenting recommendations, explaining complex concepts, and communicating solution rationale effectively to audiences ranging from technical teams to senior leadership.
Develop client-ready presentations, briefs, and other materials tailored to different stakeholder groups, while contributing to internal strategic initiatives, knowledge sharing, and consulting-practice development.
Support public-sector digital transformation initiatives and help customers adopt technology and delivery best practices within complex organizational environments.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience and a bachelor’s degree. Relevant professional experience may substitute for formal education or an advanced degree.
Strong experience with Salesforce and the ability to develop and articulate program, project, and technology strategies that leverage the Salesforce platform.
Demonstrated experience in business analysis, application design and development, solution architecture, requirements definition, user-story development, process documentation, and functional/system design.
Experience leading discovery sessions and translating complex business requirements into practical, scalable technology solutions and future-state processes.
Background supporting public-sector digital transformation initiatives, ideally involving large or complex organizations.
Strong presentation, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical and business concepts clearly and influence stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Excellent listening, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities, combined with creative and prescriptive problem-solving skills.
Ability to act as a trusted advisor, align diverse stakeholder groups, identify risks, and follow issues through to complete resolution.
U.S. citizenship is contractually required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD SECRET security clearance. Candidates who already hold an active SECRET or higher-level clearance are preferred.
Hands-on experience with Public Sector Solutions / Agentforce Public Sector and OmniStudio is a plus.
Ability to travel as required; the role indicates travel of up to 10%, with selected candidates potentially traveling up to 25%.
