Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer – DXP Solutions to join our Global Product Engineering (GPE) / Digital Experience Platform (DXP) team.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving technical leadership, designing scalable microservices, and leading cross-functional engineering teams to transform functional requirements into high-performance, secure digital transformation solutions on Iron Mountain’s InSight® Digital Experience Platform (DXP).
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
· Technical Leadership & Execution: Lead cross-functional engineering squads in designing, developing, and deploying scalable enterprise solutions on the InSight DXP platform while serving as the technical SME for microservices, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native services.
· Solution Design & Full-Stack Development: Develop, test, and deploy resilient backend and frontend services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, REST APIs, and React JS while integrating machine learning models, search technologies (ElasticSearch, Solr), and message buses (Kafka).
· Architecture & Delivery Leadership: Partner with Solution Architects and Product Managers to define technical roadmaps, conduct architecture/code reviews, guide squads on microservice design patterns, and mitigate technical execution risks.
· DevOps & Process Governance: Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab-CI, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes while championing Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks.
· Mentorship & Quality Standards: Drive Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices, optimize system performance, resolve complex production/security incidents, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers to build team capability.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
· 7+ years of hands-on software development experience across the complete SDLC, including 3+ years in a technical lead role guiding engineering teams and delivering enterprise-grade SaaS platforms.
· Strong knowledge of Languages & Frameworks: Proficiency in Java (Java 11+), Java Spring Boot, Python, JavaScript / React JS, and RESTful web services.
· Strong knowledge of Cloud, Middleware & Databases: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure), Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, ElasticSearch/Solr, and SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
· Proven ability in DevOps, Process & Domain Knowledge: Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, JIRA), Agile/Scrum governance, and domain expertise in Content Services Platforms (CSP), Enterprise Content Management (ECM), or Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
