About the role...
In this role, we are looking for energetic folks, who can validate, synthesize and transform customer data for planning, visibility, collaboration, and analytics using different tools to proactive customer delight in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What you’ll do for us…
Timely response and resolution of batch automation disruptions, in order to meet customer SLA’s with accurate and on-time results
Validating, synthesizing, transforming customer data for planning, visibility, collaboration, and analytics using tools like SQL.
Review and analyze the data provided by the customer along with its technical/functional intent and interdependencies.
Ensure smooth operations of o9's cloud-based solution
Support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes
Collect, monitor and analyze systems performance data for improved performance
Create automated tasks with shell scripts (bash, PowerShell, python)
Understand the o9 platform’s data model (table structures, linkages, optimal designs) post-go-live for maintaining, debugging, and enhancing various planning use cases.
Participate in the technical design, data requirements gathering, making recommendations in case of inaccurate or missing data.
Fine-tune performance at various levels; automate manual processes; establish checks and balances for sustained value delivery.
Create and execute integration test-cases. Work on bugs/issues and track the progress of resolving issues using support tools.
What you’ll have...
Experience 3+ years of hands -on experience in SQL and leveraging ETL tools like Delta Lake for data transformation.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), AZURE, Google Cloud Infrastructures preferred.
Education: Bachelor of Science, or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Masters of Science or higher degree in Computer Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research, Computer Science, Statistics or a related quantitative field is preferred
Skills: Statistical, Optimization, and Simulation skills through software tools and packages like R/Javascript/Python preferred.
Proficient in SQL and leveraging ETL tools for data transformations.
Proficiency in Python, Bash, and/or Powershell Scripting
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint for analysis and presentation
Fluent in English and Japanese, both speaking and writing
Characteristics: Ability to take complete ownership of work and deliver with minimal management oversight.
