Sr Associate Cybersecurity Risk Analyst - Third Party

2. About the Opportunity:
The Cybersecurity Analyst role supports the Cybersecurity team by managing information security tasks including software vetting, compliance documentation, vulnerability monitoring, and security configuration support. This position contributes to maintaining and improving the organization's security posture and compliance with key frameworks, ensuring protection of enterprise systems. The role offers opportunities for growth based on demonstrated capabilities.
3. Responsibilities:
Perform Tier 1/2 cyber help desk duties including customer issue identification and resolution
Vet and review software for inclusion or exclusion on the production network
Conduct security posture checks and remediate vulnerabilities
Assist with risk assessments and development of compliance processes and documentation (RMF, NIST SP 800-171, CMMC)
Escalate issues to appropriate engineers or managers as needed
Maintain and develop Information Security team process documentation
Provide customer service and inter-departmental support
Analyze suspicious communications and coordinate with Cyberoperations
Support IT department and collaborate across teams
Streamline processes and optimize the cybersecurity environment
4. Requirements:
U.S. Citizenship required
Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
Active Security+ certification or willingness to obtain within six months
Strong understanding of cybersecurity domains, frameworks, and regulatory requirements
Excellent English communication and customer service skills
Effective time and task management skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks
Willingness to learn and contribute
1-3 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity or related roles preferred
Active A+ and/or Network+ certification(s) or equivalent preferred
Knowledge of Linux security configurations
Experience with Microsoft Defender, Sentinel, network mapping, vulnerability analysis
Experience using scripts, automation, and data analysis to improve workflows
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
The salary range for this role is $31 - $48 per hour
