YOUR ROLE
Attached to the Imaging Validation department, you will join a dynamic and innovative team, an integral part of R&D, working on projects at the state of the art of image sensor technology targeting various markets and applications.
As a Functional Validation Engineer, you will be involved in validating all the division products. This activity will aim to ensure the adequacy of the functionalities and performances of the product with the specifications by relying on FPGA prototyping first, and on circuit silicon in a second time.
In this context, you will be responsible for Camera Image Sensor SoC validation, focusing on Security, Secure Streaming, Cryptographic Validation, and System-Level Functional validation.
The candidate will be responsible for validating security features across the Camera Image Sensor SoC, ensuring robust implementation of security architectures including Secure Boot, Root of Trust, Authentication, Encryption, Hashing, Secure Firmware Update, Secure Streaming, and Anti-Tamper mechanisms. The role requires deep understanding of imaging pipelines, embedded systems, security protocols, and automation using Python.
Throughout the validation, you will also oversee the analysis and resolution of technical challenges. Your product expertise may also be called upon to participate in customer support and integration.
To succeed in these missions, you will work in close collaboration with all the different product development teams (Design, Architecture, Firmware and embedded software development), with our application teams in order to provide the best validation solution that will meet our customer's needs.
You will also participate in project meetings, sharing information, actions, and priorities within the team.
Finally, as a member of a validation team, you will reuse existing tools. You will also propose and participate in methods and tools for improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Validate end-to-end security architecture of Camera Image Sensor SoCs.
Develop comprehensive validation plans for hybrid cryptographic schemes combining classical and PQC algorithms:
Secure Boot
Chain of Trust
Secure Firmware Loading
Secure Debug Access
Secure Key Provisioning
Anti-Tamper Mechanisms
Secure Manufacturing Flows
Secure video streaming
Verify authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Validate OTP -based security configurations.
Perform negative testing and security robustness testing.
Your Skills & Experiences
Object-oriented programming languages (preferably Python, C)
Version management tools (git, svn)
Software, Hardware knowledge and debug capabilities.
Knowledge:
Embedded electronics / computing (real time)
Laboratory tools (oscilloscope, signal generator, etc.)
Transmission protocols (high and low speed): I2C, I3C, SPI, MIPI, DP, eDP
Automation and/or continuous integration tools (ex: Jenkins, Gerrit, AI tools)
Notions in image processing would be an adding competency.
