1. About Our Client:
This team operates as a federal contractor providing IT and professional services solutions to Department of Defense and Civilian agencies. The organization focuses on delivering innovative technology support to meet the specialized needs of government clients.
2. About the Opportunity:
The Systems Administrator, Senior is responsible for ensuring the stable operation of the Defense Logistics Agency''s computer software systems and network connections. This role supports multiple locations by maintaining and optimizing network software, resolving end-user issues, and guiding technology direction to align with organizational goals.
3. Responsibilities:
Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and support network software and communication links
Analyze and resolve end-user software program and connectivity issues
Provide end-user training
Recommend technology directions consistent with business vision
Provide local and remote maintenance support for operational systems at multiple sites
Perform maintenance, upgrades, and new installations of servers and applications
Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance
Conduct vulnerability management
4. Requirements:
Seven years of progressive experience in Information Processing, including six years specialized in hardware/software solutions
Four years of hands-on experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving software issues
Experience developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting applications using ColdFusion (2023/2025) and/or .NET 4.8 frameworks on Linux and Windows servers
Experience creating executive-level presentations and engaging senior management
Proficiency with Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code for coding, testing, and debugging
Experience with GitHub for version control, repository and branch management, and code reviews
Ability to write clean, high-performance, hard-coded software
Strong interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills
Proven systems administrator experience with Corporate Performance Management platforms
Security/Certification:
Sensitivity Level: IT-II – Sensitive if privileged access is required
Clearance: Active Secret; IA Level: IAT II
8570.01-M/8140 Baseline certification applicable for privileged access roles
Computing Environment:
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
Salary range: $130,000 to $160,000 annually
