Company Description
ATMAN is a Centre of Excellence at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur focused on advancing air quality monitoring through innovative technologies such as AI/ML, low-cost sensing systems, and data-driven environmental solutions. The centre aims to address air pollution challenges across urban and rural India
Role & Responsibilities
1. Deployment of IoT based air quality monitors with solar panels at designated locations.
2. Ensure calibration and maintain air quality monitor uptime.
3. Maintenance & troubleshooting of air quality monitors at field sites.
4. Maintenance of IIT Kanpur colocation-calibration facility.
5. This position requires extensive travel (80% of time). Selected candidate should be willing to travel. (Note:-TA/DA will be paid as per IIT Kanpur norms)
6. Manage any technical issues of the air quality monitors with respect to data download and data access.
7. Coordinate with people on the ground for all maintenance issues and coordinate with Start-Ups on managing maintenance as needed.
Qualifications
B.E./B.Tech + 3 years experience in relevant field
Areas of Educational Qualification:
Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
Desirable Experience: Candidate should have prior field work experience
Ideal candidate: Should be ready to perform extensive field work. Candidate should be sincere and honest, especially in financial matters. Should be ready to undertake any work assigned by the Principal Investigator.
