Salary: A gross monthly salary ranging from €3,434.73 to €4,356.07 based on full-time employment (all-in)
As Maître, you will lead the ambitious restaurant team of Restaurant Château Neercanne*. Together with the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for further developing the restaurant's vision, objectives, and concept, while ensuring that every guest enjoys a Michelin-star-level culinary experience.
Through your personality, expertise, and leadership, you inspire, motivate, and elevate the team to the highest standards.
As the person ultimately responsible for the restaurant, you safeguard the guest experience, quality standards, and level of service expected of a Michelin-starred establishment.
You lead the restaurant team on a daily basis, ensure seamless collaboration between the front-of-house and kitchen teams, and actively participate in the operation.
Achieving revenue, cost, and quality targets comes naturally to you, and you are able to translate organizational objectives into clear actions for your team.
You serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for both guests and colleagues, consistently exceeding expectations through personal attention and attention to detail.
Together with the Sommelier, you are responsible for wine purchasing, inventory management, and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
You oversee staff scheduling and ensure efficient workforce planning.
You know how to balance working with your team and working on your team. You continuously optimize performance by coaching, mentoring, and training team members on the floor every day.
You are a natural host or hostess with a passion for gastronomy and inspiring people. You know better than anyone how to lead a team while delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Proven experience in a managerial role within the hospitality industry or high-end gastronomy
The ability to inspire, coach, and motivate team members
A strong sense of responsibility for team performance and guest satisfaction
Full-time availability
A passion for wine and gastronomy; a WSET wine certification is considered an advantage
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
A keen eye for detail and a continuous focus on quality
Professional appearance, proactive attitude, and the ability to perform well under pressure
Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of German and/or French is an advantage
A commitment to creating an exceptional culinary experience for every guest
