Customer Orders and Production Planning Specialist (f/m/div.)

As a Customer Orders and Production Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring operational excellence by balancing customer requirements, production capacity and delivery performance. Your work will directly contribute to customer satisfaction, production stability and continuous improvement across our operations.
Your contribution to something big:
Coordinate and negotiate production plans with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
Develop, monitor and optimize production schedules based on customer demand and annual sales forecasts.
Manage production leveling activities and track key performance indicators to support operational excellence.
Coordinate customer deliveries and proactively address bottlenecks to achieve service and delivery targets.
Collaborate closely with manufacturing, logistics and planning teams to ensure efficient production execution.
Actively contribute to industrialization initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
Support the implementation of Lean Manufacturing principles and process optimization activities.
Drive collaboration and communication across departments to ensure smooth and effective operations.
What distinguishes you:
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
Experience
Experience in production planning, manufacturing operations, logistics or supply chain environments.
Experience working with production processes, quality management methods or continuous improvement initiatives.
Exposure to Lean Manufacturing principles is considered an advantage.
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Know-how
Knowledge of production planning and manufacturing processes.
Good understanding of SAP and Microsoft Office tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and support decision-making in a fast-paced environment.
Good negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.
Languages
Fluent English, written and spoken.
German is considered an advantage.
