OTR Class A CDL Heavy Haul Driver – Oversize/Overweight

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Safely transport oversize, overweight, and specialized freight throughout the United States and Canada.
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant.
Secure cargo using chains, binders, straps, tarps, and other approved load securement methods.
Follow permit requirements, approved routes, escort instructions, and all applicable transportation regulations.
Maintain accurate logs, inspection reports, and required transportation documentation.
Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, escorts, and regulatory agencies.
Represent the company professionally while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for oversize heavy haul transportation.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in oversized heavy haul transportation.
Experience with permits, escorts, route planning, and specialized transportation requirements.
Strong safety mindset with a clean driving record and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Availability to perform long-haul specialized transportation assignments lasting approximately 3 to 4 weeks at a time.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and adapt to changing operational needs.

WHAT WE OFFER:
Hourly Rate: $30.84/hour (base rate), complemented with premium pay based on load type and per diem allowance
Signing Bonus: $2,500

WORK SCHEDULE:
We promote work-life balance by alternating long-haul assignments with week-long breaks.
Long-haul assignments normally involve a work schedule of 60 to 70 work hours per week – with a minimum 10 hours guaranteed per day
