Sharepoint SME / Devops – for 2 FTEs (First SME from the beginning to the end of the project – Second SME starting in Month 4 during production migration)
Purpose
Execute the technical migration activities, configure migration tooling, and support pilot and production migrations under the guidance of the Workplace Architect.
Main Responsibilities
Configure, operate, and maintain migration tools such as Quest and ShareGate.
Support data discovery, content inventory, and migration wave preparation.
Implement remediation activities for identified migration blockers, including path length limitations, invalid characters, unsupported file types, and permission-related issues.
Execute pilot migrations and validate migrated content together with customer stakeholders.
Prepare migration runbooks, execution procedures, quality checks, and migration reporting.
Perform production migration activities, including delta migrations, cutover execution, and post-migration validation.
Support issue resolution and troubleshooting during migration execution.
Provide migration status reporting and knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Key Requirements
Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online administration and migration projects.
Practical experience with ShareGate and Quest migration platforms.
Knowledge of File Share, NTFS permissions, Microsoft 365 collaboration services, and content governance.
Experience executing migration waves and validating migrated content.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work closely with business stakeholders during testing and migration validation.
Nice to Have
Experience with additional migration tools and methodologies.
Knowledge of cloud services and architecture.
Details
Contract: B2B, 12 months with possibility of extenstion
Rate: 180-200 PLN net per hour + VAT
Location: Poland, 100% remote
