Quality Engineering Intern

Compensation: $23.00–$33.00 per hour

Role Overview:
We are looking for a quality engineering intern to support manufacturing and supplier quality. As an entry level Quality Engineer intern at Power Solutions, you will partner with Inspection, Manufacturing Engineering, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality to disposition rejected or purged material.
Your Responsibilities:
In this role, you will report to the Senior Principal Quality Engineer.
Continuing the flow of parts stopped by non-conforming issues.
Making Reviewing data for communication to top management.
Communication of issues to Supplier Quality and Purchasing to improve part quality.
Requirements:
No Travel is required.
This is an entry level position with no previous Required Experience
Awareness of supplier quality and purchasing interactions
Experience exporting and analyzing data (NCM, purge, product returns)
Electrical component and PCB knowledge
Understanding of manufacturing processes and part flow
Understanding of inspection methods, sequences, and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and written procedures
Knowledge of material disposition processes (scrap, rework, use-as-is, return)
Familiarity with purge processing workflows
Ability to complete transactions in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle or similar)
Understanding of material tracking and quality records
Ability to summarize and present findings clearly
