Position Summary:
We are currently looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused individual for the position of Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Helper. The Rooftop Loader/Warehouse Helper safely loads rooftops with shingles, supports drivers during deliveries, and manages the movement, picking and organization of inventory.
Key Responsibilities
Load rooftops with bundles of shingles and related products.
Work closely and co-operatively with drivers to ensure safe and efficient delivery of products.
Handle material by hand and with use of appropriate equipment.
Safely load, unload, move, ship and receive product and inventory.
Ensure orders are picked correctly, tagged and double checked.
Maintain clean and organized work environments in the store and yard.
Strictly adhere to and comply with all health and safety rules, regulations, and legislation.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Basic Requirements
Valid forklift license is considered an asset (training can be provided).
Fall Protection/Working at Heights certification is considered an asset (training can be provided).
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Strong customer service skills.
Previous warehouse and forklift operation experience preferred.
Knowledge of the roofing industry is considered an asset.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 100lbs.
