Role Description
The WordPress Developer Intern will contribute as an unpaid intern virtually, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of WordPress-based websites. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with theme and plugin customization, implementing front-end layouts, and ensuring responsive, user-friendly interfaces.
The intern will support back-end configuration, content integration, and basic troubleshooting of website issues under the guidance of senior developers. The role also involves collaborating with the team to test new features, optimize performance, and apply best practices in web standards and security.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess Front-End Development and Responsive Web Design skills.
Candidates should possess Web Design and Web Development skills.
Candidates should possess Back-End Web Development skills.
Basic experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and CMS administration is beneficial.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and an interest in learning PHP and MySQL.
Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback.
Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree or training program in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
