QA Engineer – Data Platform / Cloud Warehouse

Job Description:
Perform QA and automation testing for Data Platform / Cloud Data Warehouse applications.
Design and execute test cases for data, ETL pipelines, databases and APIs.
Perform backend data testing and ETL testing to validate data accuracy, completeness and integrity.
Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and testing.
Perform database testing and validate data across source and target systems.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium with Core Java or Python.
Perform API testing and validate API responses and data.
Work with cloud data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery.
Identify, troubleshoot and report defects and work with development teams for resolution.
Ensure quality standards and testing processes are followed.
Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
Mandatory Skills:
8+ years of QA/testing experience.
Strong hands-on experience in complex SQL queries.
Strong hands-on experience in ETL / Backend Data Testing.
Experience in Database Testing.
Strong experience in API Testing and Selenium.
Hands-on experience in Python or Core Java.
Experience with Data Warehouse testing.
Experience with Snowflake, Databricks and BigQuery.
Excellent communication skills.
