We are looking for an Associate Director, Landing Systems Materials Management professional who is responsible for leading the standardization of Materials Management policies, processes, tools and performance metrics across the Landing Systems business to build and implement a best-in-class SIOP process to improve customer satisfaction, profitability, inventory turns, lead times and working capital. Cross-functional collaboration with our Global network will be key within the role to synchronize Materials Management with upstream and downstream processes.
This Associate Director, Landing Systems Materials Management position reports to the Director, SIOP/Materials of Advanced Structures | Landing Systems. This role is integral in linking business strategy to our operational plans and identifying key risks in meeting plans to a cross-functional leadership team. It will provide high-level strategy and process leadership, facilitate matrixed communication, data analysis, and plan alignment. This is an opportunity to develop team members directly and indirectly.
What You Will Do
Provide standardization of Materials Management policies, processes, tools and performance metrics across the Landing Systems business to accelerate implementation of site-level monthly Materials Management process that balances demand, supply, and financial goals of the business in one comprehensive plan
Drive ownership and maturity for load and capacity planning processes for both labor and machine resources
Accountable for driving, developing and enhancing the competency level of Materials Management; leading cross functional change, building capability and enabling transitions required to continuously adapt to the dynamic business environment
Develop supply plan scenarios in conjunction with cross-functional leaders (including shipment, inventory, and capacity) to maximize the ability to meet unconstrained demand and financial goals
Manage production plan escalations when a significant deviation from plan occurs, and manage the subsequent shortage reporting, recovery planning and communication with the value stream leaders
Assist in large scale MRP migrations as a subject matter expert
Partner with Operations, finance and supply chain leaders to determine high-level plan risks and guide scenario analysis and cross-functional reconciliation
Present Materials Management plan proposals, risks, and risk mitigation actions to Advanced Structures and Landing Systems leaders
Partner with Finance to understand capital budget, net working capital, and revenue / margin impacts of capacity, inventory, and production plan changes
Produce Service Level impact feedback during proposals process and action planning; understand Service Level impact (external and internal processes) and critical path for key customers and major product lines
Apply advanced level of understanding of planning processes to facilitate deep analytics and data alignment across all Landing Systems sites and functions.

Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience
5+ years’ experience utilizing planning software packages (Kinaxis Rapid Response, SAP IBP, APO, Servigistics or others)
Experience applying structured and disciplined methodology to identify root cause(s) in the process
Experience Deploying innovative and effective solutions resulting in risk mitigation and improved execution
Experience in supply chain concepts and their financial impact (inventory turns, cash flow, and working capital)
Qualifications We Prefer
Degree focus in Supply Chain, Materials Management, Logistics, or Business Administration, MBA
APICS (CPIM, CSCP)
Experience in cross-discipline collaboration and problem solving
Strong project management skills
Experience/knowledge working in an aerospace environment is highly desirable

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
