Northrop Grumman is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator 4 to join our Corporate Office. This is a full-time, on-site role based in our Falls Church, VA office. In this role, you will serve as a key resource for Corporate Office functions, providing support across a broad range of HR disciplines, including employee relations, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, HR procedures, and metrics/reporting.
The HR Coordinator will partner with the HR team, employees, and business leaders by managing a variety of administrative tasks and projects to ensure HR processes run smoothly and efficiently. This role is also responsible for assessing HR processes for operational effectiveness and providing high-quality operational support to the HR team.
Additional job responsibilities include:
Working with our Shared Services teams on problem resolution
Assisting with developing and implementing HR programs and initiatives
Maintaining and updating SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and other collaboration tools
Collecting and compiling sensitive and confidential talent-related metrics and statistics and preparing reports
Assisting with employee communication initiatives and audits
Maintaining and updating employee records and HR data
Creating content for executive-level meetings and support in running meetings
Other duties may include support planning of events for HR organization
The individual in this role may also serve on project or operational teams from time to time
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED and 6 years of Human Resources or related experience; may consider additional education in lieu of experience (Associate’s Degree and 4 years of related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 (including SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & OneDrive)
Passion for human resources, employee engagement, and the employee experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
Ability to work with large data sets
Project Management skills
Advanced Microsoft Office of Microsoft 365 skills
Workday or similar HR Information System experience Proficiency scheduling and leading meetings in Zoom and Microsoft Teams
Primary Level Salary Range: $61,100.00 - $101,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
