Job Summary
Performs activities related to the distribution of equipment and supplies, following established procedures and under the guidance of a supervisor. Maintains accurate stock records and supports inventory integrity across assigned areas, including monitoring consumption and assisting with reorder and replenishment requirements. Supports proper organization in adherence with regulatory, safety, and organizational standards. Assists team members in fulfillment and distribution of supplies, escalating issues as needed.
Essential Functions
• Fulfills orders and issues supplies from inventory, distribution partners and vendor direct orders to appropriate departments, following established procedures and under supervision, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Examines stock for conformance to specifications and reports discrepancies to supervisor. ​
• Unpacks, organizes, and stores materials in designated locations based on storage requirements, considering factors such as temperature, humidity, and safety protocols.
• Transports materials between receiving docks, storage areas, and user departments, maintaining records of material movement.
• Assists in monitoring and replenishing inventory levels in designated areas, escalating discrepancies or shortages to supervisor to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policy.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of storage areas, including removal of waste and dusting of shelves following standard procedures and safety guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education Requirement
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Experience Requirement
0-2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or a relevant area
An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. All experience must be paid and in the same related field. Part-time and PRN experience will be prorated based on hours worked per week. Volunteer work and internships for academic credit are not counted.
