Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Embedded Software Developer role based in Karad. The Embedded Software Developer will design, implement, and maintain software for embedded systems, working closely with hardware engineers and other team members. Day-to-day responsibilities include writing efficient and reliable code for microcontrollers or processors, debugging and troubleshooting software and firmware issues, and optimizing performance and resource usage. The role involves participating in software architecture discussions, creating clear documentation, and following established development, testing, and version control practices. The developer will also support integration and validation activities, contribute to continuous improvement of coding standards, and assist in resolving customer or field issues related to embedded software.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Embedded Software Programming and hands-on experience with Embedded Software development environments.
Candidates should possess skills in general Software Development, including coding, testing, and version control practices.
Candidates should possess skills in Debugging embedded systems, including using tools such as debuggers, logic analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
Candidates should possess skills in Software Design, including modular architecture, real-time systems, and optimization for constrained hardware.
Relevant experience with C/C++ for microcontrollers, RTOS-based development, and communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, CAN) is beneficial.
A bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary team are important.
Familiarity with hardware schematics, basic electronics, and safety and quality standards for embedded products is an advantage.
