Full Stack Developer – AI, Automation & Immersive Tech | REDS™
REDS™ (Rubenius Experiential Design System) is hiring a Full Stack Developer with 1–4 years of experience to build the software, AI and hardware-integration layer behind immersive experience centres, innovation labs and phygital installations.
About REDS™
• REDS™ is the experiential technology brand of Rubenius, built on its 20+ years of experiential and workspace design.
• We design and deliver immersive experience centres, innovation labs, brand galleries and phygital installations for corporate, institutional and global clients, with teams in Bhubaneswar, Bangalore and Dubai.
• Our spaces are run by software: REDS™ OS, our proprietary control layer, drives content, displays, sensors and AI experiences across every installation.
• You will be a core engineer on that platform, owning features end to end from data model and APIs to interfaces, AI, device integration and on-site deployment.
What you'll build
• REDS™ XOS and content platform
– Multi-tenant CMS for LED walls, video walls and signage
– Media library, zone playlists and scheduling
– Offline sync and remote device management
– Analytics
• AI experiences
– Conversational 3D avatars and kiosk assistants
– Voice interfaces
– RAG over client knowledge
– Visitor analytics with computer vision
– AI agents that personalise content in real time
• Immersive installations
– Interactive touch walls and tables
– Projection mapping
– Gesture and motion-tracked experiences
– AR / VR / MR showcases
– Real-time 3D in the browser and in game engines
• IoT and hardware integration
– Connecting sensors, cameras, RFID/NFC, beacons, lighting, relays and media players to REDS™ OS
– Show control that syncs AV, lighting and content in a space
• Automation
– Workflow and show-control automation
– Scheduled and event-driven triggers
– Device health monitoring and alerting
– Internal ops tooling
Key responsibilities
• Build and ship full-stack features on REDS™ XOS, from database schema and APIs to responsive React / Next.js dashboards and on-screen experiences.
• Design and build AI applications: LLM integrations (OpenAI, Gemini, Claude), RAG pipelines, AI agents and tool calling, speech-to-text / text-to-speech voice experiences, and computer-vision features.
• Build immersive front ends: interactive touch and gesture apps, WebGL / Three.js scenes, and content for Unity or Unreal Engine installations.
• Integrate IoT devices and hardware with the platform over MQTT, WebSockets, REST, serial, OSC, DMX / Art-Net or Modbus; write device-side code on Raspberry Pi, ESP32 or Arduino where needed.
• Build automation: event-driven workflows, show-control sequences, scheduled content, and device monitoring with alerts.
• Build real-time, offline-first systems that keep running when a venue's network drops, then sync when it returns.
• Containerise services with Docker, run CI/CD, and deploy to cloud (AWS) and to edge devices on site.
• Turn designs from our Creative and Experience Design teams into pixel-accurate, performant interfaces for screens of every size, from mobile to multi-panel LED walls.
• Go on site for installation, integration testing and commissioning of experience centres.
• Work in Agile sprints with designers, project managers and clients; write clear technical notes and review code.
