Snow Removal - Crew Member

Are you experienced, enthusiastic, and team-oriented? Looking for a great place to grow your career? Peter Hughes Landscape has a fantastic opportunity for Sidewalk Snow Removal. This position is ready to start in October and will have the opportunity to continue work into spring/summer.
Typical start time is 4:00 am (on call)
Sidewalk crews are given a 30/hr weekly guarantee.

About the Opportunity
This position is responsible for carrying out a high standard of work relating to the Snow Removal division at Peter Hughes Landscape. This work includes but is not limited to shoveling snow, operating small engine equipment (backpack blowers, sweepers, & snow blowers), scraping ice, and assisting other departments as needed.
Shovel snow and clear ice from all designated areas, including sidewalks, walkways, and entrance points.
Apply salt, sand, ice melt, or gravel as required
Operate and utilize machines such as snow blowers, sidewalk sweepers, and backpack blowers to clear snow efficiently
Remove all garbage and debris from sites to maintain cleanliness standards
What You Bring to the Table
Able to work on-call during the winter season
Demonstrated competency in using property maintenance equipment (shovels, snow blowers, backpack blowers, sweepers)
Commitment to demonstrating high-quality workmanship, efficient production, and exceeding safety requirements
