Senior Backend Software Engineer – Python at BairesDev
In this role, you'll build backend services on AWS that support products used by millions of collectors. This is a hands-on position where your code directly reaches customers through the web and mobile experiences it powers. This is your opportunity to grow your cloud and backend skills on a team that owns features from design through deployment.
What You'll Do:
- Build and maintain backend services on AWS serverless infrastructure.
- Implement features end to end, from design through deployment.
- Build and consume APIs used by web and mobile applications.
- Work with containerized services using Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Build and maintain data models across PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years of experience in backend engineering, with strong proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with AWS Serverless (Lambda, SQS, SNS, EventBridge, API Gateway).
- Background in PostgreSQL and DynamoDB.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or ECS.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Background building consumer-facing products at scale.
