Specialist, IWM Portfolio Analyst

The Specialist, IWM Portfolio Analyst is responsible for supporting portfolio implementation activities and trade execution processes across investment portfolios. This role works closely with investment teams to ensure trades are accurately entered, monitored, and executed while maintaining compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will also contribute to portfolio reporting, reconciliation activities, and investment operations processes that support efficient portfolio management and informed business decision-making.
We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Specialist, IWM Portfolio Analyst to join our ARX Macro team. This role is located in Rio de Janeiro, RJ.
In this role, you will:
Execute portfolio trades as directed by investment teams across multiple strategies and accounts.
Enter and maintain trade instructions within the Charles River Development (CRD) platform.
Partner with Compliance and Surveillance teams to address pre-trade compliance alerts and ensure adherence to investment guidelines.
Monitor trades throughout their lifecycle, from order creation through execution and settlement.
Follow up with portfolio managers and investment teams regarding outstanding trades, open orders, and execution status.
Assist in asset, cash, and market value reconciliation processes in partnership with Investment Accounting and Operations teams.
Support portfolio reporting and analysis activities by gathering, validating, and interpreting investment data.
Conduct portfolio reviews and prepare reports that support portfolio management and business decision-making.
Identify and escalate trade, reconciliation, and operational discrepancies in a timely manner.
Provide backup support to Portfolio Analysts and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and experience.
Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.
