Pricing Architect

ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a senior, customer-facing role at an early-stage AI-native B2B SaaS pricing platform. You will own pricing engagements end-to-end, from initial discovery through live model deployment and ongoing optimization, serving as the trusted pricing advisor for each customer. The work sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, product, and customer success, and directly shapes both customer outcomes and the direction of the product.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead pricing engagements independently, running discovery workshops, market research, and stakeholder alignment sessions.
- Design segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting structures, and monetization logic tailored to each customer.
- Drive post-launch pricing optimization and continuous value capture as customers grow and evolve.
- Act as a trusted pricing advisor to operator and executive stakeholders, setting expectations and proving measurable impact.
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts and convert them into upsells.
- Use the platform and AI pricing engine daily to solve real customer problems and surface specific product feedback.
- Partner with product and engineering to sharpen AI recommendations and tool capabilities.
- Support rollout and change management, including onboarding sales teams to improve execution.
- Document learnings to help build a scalable, repeatable pricing engagement motion.
- Participate in sales pitches and help advance deals by identifying and qualifying prospects.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5 to 7+ years in pricing, commercial strategy, or revenue management, ideally from a top-tier strategy consulting background or a pricing/revenue role in tech or SaaS.
- Deep expertise in pricing and commercial value creation: segmentation, packaging, price metrics, discounting, and willingness-to-pay methods.
- Proven track record leading end-to-end pricing engagements, from concept through execution, across multiple accounts.
- Meaningful B2B tech exposure, with prior pricing or commercial strategy work relevant to software or SaaS businesses.
- Experience managing enterprise or mid-market customer relationships and communicating with varied stakeholders up to C-level.
- Hands-on experience using GenAI and LLM tools in day-to-day pricing or analytical work.
- Proficiency with data analysis using spreadsheets and SQL to support and validate pricing decisions.
- Comfort with ambiguity and a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
- Professional fluency in English.
- Experience coaching or mentoring others in pricing or related commercial functions is a plus.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Salary range: $180,000 to $220,000 USD per year, plus equity participation and a market-standard benefits package. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
LOCATION
On-site in Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands. Candidates must be based in Amsterdam or willing to relocate.
