Role Description This full-time Quality Assurance Engineer role is a hybrid position based in Panipat, with the flexibility for some work from home. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, document, and execute test cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements of software applications. Daily responsibilities include performing manual testing, reporting and tracking defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and resolve issues. The role also involves maintaining test documentation, participating in test planning and review meetings, and contributing to continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Qualifications
Strong foundation in Quality Assurance and Software Testing, with a clear understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
Hands-on experience with Test Execution and Test Cases, including writing, organizing, and maintaining test documentation.
Proficiency in Manual Testing techniques, with the ability to identify defects, reproduce issues, and validate fixes.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and provide concise, well-structured defect reports.
Familiarity with defect tracking tools, test management systems, and basic software development lifecycle concepts.
Attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to testing activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience with basic automation concepts or scripting, and exposure to hybrid work environments, is an advantage.
