Senior Oracle Technical Consultant (AI Enablement)

Role Summary
We are looking for a Senior Oracle Technical Consultant with a strong Oracle EBS technical background and practical experience with AI/GenAI enablement and enterprise integrations.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience across Oracle RICEW/CEMLI, SQL/PLSQL, integrations, data conversion, reporting, troubleshooting, and production support, combined with the ability to work with AI/ML teams to enable AI-driven workflows within the Oracle environment.
This is not a pure Oracle Functional role or a pure AI Engineering role. We are looking for someone who can bridge the Oracle technical environment with modern integration and AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle Technical Development
Design, develop, enhance, and support Oracle EBS applications across RICEW/CEMLI components:
Reports
Interfaces
Conversions
Extensions
Workflows
Strong hands-on development using SQL and PL/SQL.
Experience with Oracle Forms, OAF, XML Publisher/BI Publisher and related Oracle technical components.
Develop technical solutions based on business and functional requirements.
Prepare technical specifications, perform impact analysis, troubleshoot issues, and support production environments.
Support Oracle upgrades, patches, testing, deployment, and release activities.
Perform data fixes, performance tuning, root-cause analysis, and Oracle Support SR resolution.
Integration & API Development
Strong emphasis on enterprise integration methodologies and REST APIs.
Design and develop integrations between Oracle EBS and external applications, platforms, services, and data sources.
Strong understanding of REST APIs, API-based integration, web services, data exchange, and integration patterns.
Develop, consume, test, and troubleshoot REST/SOAP APIs and other integration interfaces.
Work with JSON, XML, data mapping, transformations, authentication, error handling, and integration monitoring.
Understand different integration approaches and determine the appropriate methodology based on business and technical requirements.
Experience integrating Oracle with third-party applications, SaaS platforms, data platforms, and modern cloud services.
Work with middleware, integration platforms, APIs, and data pipelines where required.
Support integration design, technical documentation, testing, deployment, and production troubleshooting.
AI / GenAI Enablement
Partner with AI/ML engineering teams to identify opportunities for AI-enabled Oracle workflows.
Translate Oracle business processes and technical requirements into AI use cases.
Enable AI/GenAI applications to securely access and interact with Oracle data and business processes.
Support integration of LLMs, AI agents, RAG-based solutions, and intelligent automation with Oracle applications.
Work with AI engineering teams on APIs, data pipelines, retrieval, data access, and workflow integration.
Help expose relevant Oracle data and services through APIs or other appropriate integration mechanisms for AI workflows.
Support AI-driven use cases such as:
Intelligent document/process automation
Business-user assistance
Exception identification and handling
Data retrieval and knowledge access
Recommendations and workflow automation
Automated reporting and reconciliation
Participate in testing AI-enabled workflows for accuracy, security, data access, and business-process alignment.
Required Technical Skills
Oracle
Strong Oracle EBS / R12 technical experience.
Strong RICEW/CEMLI experience.
SQL / PL/SQL.
Oracle Reports, Forms, OAF, XML Publisher / BI Publisher.
Interfaces, conversions, extensions, workflows.
Oracle database and technical architecture.
Unix/Linux and shell scripting.

Integration & APIs – Strong Requirement
Strong understanding of integration methodologies and patterns.
Strong hands-on experience with REST APIs.
Experience consuming and developing REST-based services.
SOAP/Web Services exposure.
JSON/XML and data transformation.
API authentication, error handling, logging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
Oracle-to-third-party and third-party-to-Oracle integrations.
Experience with middleware, integration platforms, or cloud integration services is preferred.
Understanding of API-based architecture and integration with modern cloud applications.
AI / GenAI
Practical understanding of GenAI, LLMs, AI agents, or AI-driven automation.
