Role Description The Accountant role at Okey Right Services is a full-time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including recording entries, maintaining ledgers, and reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payments, managing accounts payable and receivable, and assisting with monthly and annual closing activities. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting processes, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations. The Accountant will also collaborate with internal teams, respond to financial queries, and support audits and other financial reviews as needed.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel, including spreadsheets, formulas, and basic data analysis.
Ability to manage accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and invoicing with high attention to detail.
Understanding of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and basic audit support processes.
Excellent numerical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA, CMA, CPA or equivalent) are an advantage.
Prior experience in an accounting or finance role is preferred, especially in a corporate or service-oriented environment.
Demonstrated integrity, confidentiality, and commitment to ethical financial practices.
