Position Overview
The Project Coordinator supports Project Managers and project teams in the planning, execution, and completion of projects, helping ensure project milestones are achieved on schedule, and customers receive a positive overall experience. This onsite role assists with project tracking, documentation, scheduling, logistics coordination, and administrative support functions.
Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers and project teams with day-to-day project coordination activities.
Establish and coordinate project team activities to support successful project execution.
Track and assist with critical project milestones to ensure timely completion and customer satisfaction.
Assist with scheduling meetings, project activities, deliveries, and service appointments.
Coordinate with logistics teams to prepare, package, and ship parts, equipment, and project materials.
Track shipments and provide updates to project stakeholders as needed.
Take and maintain shipment photos for documentation, tracking, and quality assurance purposes.
Maintain accurate project, shipping, and inventory records.
Communicate effectively with internal teams regarding project and shipment status.
Ensure project information and documentation remain organized, accurate, and confidential.
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Team & Work Environment
Collaborates closely with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
Joins a project coordination team of approximately 15 professionals, including Project Coordinators and Senior Project Coordinators.
Onsite role based in Alpharetta, GA - approximately 90% office-based and 10% on the production floor.
Safety shoes and safety glasses (PPE) are required when working on the production floor.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree + 1-2 years of relevant experience OR
2-year degree + 4 years of experience OR
High school diploma + 6 years of experience
Required Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and effectively manage time and priorities.
Ability to coordinate activities across multiple teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
