As an IT Project/Program Manager, you will work with the Application Program Management team to lead project teams in developing software solutions that integrate common services across the application portfolio and enterprise systems used by customers and business partners.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Accountable for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring completion on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality expectations.
· Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of project activities and project team resources.
· Manage project charters, communications, metrics, reporting, project plans, schedules, and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.
· Support cross-functional project teams by coordinating and providing information from the concept and development stages through prototype, pilot, implementation, and follow-up.
· Develop, maintain, and communicate detailed project schedules and timelines.
· Utilize professional project management tools and techniques to manage project reporting, tracking, checklists, schedules, and task delegation.
· Lead change management and timely decision-making, ensuring project impacts are identified and addressed effectively.
· Maintain detailed project schedules that reflect changes, affected components and functions, project milestones, timelines, costs, and completion requirements.
· Collaborate with team members across multiple functional disciplines and customers to establish project milestones and completion dates.
· Monitor project progress, identify and communicate issues, collaborate with affected teams to resolve problems, and ensure appropriate stakeholders are informed and corrective actions are implemented to maintain project schedules.
· Analyze project issues and recommend solutions, alternatives, and appropriate courses of action to support successful project delivery.
Requirements
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
· Bachelor’s Degree AND 8+ years of experience OR
· Master’s Degree AND 6+ years of experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· 6+ years of experience managing projects from inception through completion, with the ability to lead teams, drive alignment, and establish clear project direction.
· Proven experience leading end-to-end program management within cross-functional, matrixed organizations.
· 6+ years of direct project management experience working with software engineering teams in Agile software development environments, business partners, and product managers.
· Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams across multiple business and technical disciplines.
· Experience working with ticketing and project management systems such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar tools.
· Strong understanding of project management principles, including project charters, project planning, scheduling, scope definition, and successful project execution; ability to facilitate teams through charter development, scope alignment, and ways of working.
· 2+ years of experience with Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) and Confluence.
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
· Experience supporting and leading large-scale organizational change management initiatives.
· Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to establish alignment, provide direction, and drive teams toward project and organizational objectives.
DESIRED SKILLS:
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP, Change Management, or Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
· Experience serving as a Scrum Master in addition to direct project management experience.
· Experience working within large, enterprise-level organizations.
· Experience managing or supporting eCommerce applications and projects.
· 2+ years of experience with Power BI preferred.
SOFT SKILLS REQUIRED:
· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive issues, build relationships, develop others, and influence stakeholders both within and outside the department to drive action.
· Strong project management and team leadership skills, with excellent communication, multitasking, analytical, and organizational abilities.
· Strong written, verbal, communication, and presentation skills.
