Role Description The Member role at Dowell Technologies Pvt. Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. In this role, the team member will support software project execution, contribute to requirement gathering, assist in system design, and participate in development, testing, and deployment activities. The Member will collaborate with senior professionals and project managers to document processes, prepare reports, and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards. Daily responsibilities may include coordinating with cross-functional teams, responding to client queries under guidance, and helping maintain project documentation and knowledge bases. The role offers opportunities to learn new technologies, gain exposure to multiple functional domains, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Qualifications
Strong foundational knowledge of software development concepts and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ability to contribute to requirements analysis, basic system design, development, testing, and documentation activities.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills for technical and functional issues.
Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with project managers, senior professionals, and clients.
Comfort working in an on-site environment in Chennai, with adaptability to diverse projects, domains, and work cultures.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline; equivalent practical experience may also be considered.
Interest in or exposure to areas such as ERP systems, e-commerce solutions, or business applications in domains like manufacturing, trading, HRMS, payroll, SCM, or education is an advantage.
Willingness to learn new tools and technologies and to follow established processes, standards, and quality practices.
