Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a SAP Materials Management Consultant based in the Pune/Pimpri-Chinchwad area. The consultant will configure, support, and optimize SAP MM and related modules, including materials planning, procurement, inventory management, and invoice verification. Day-to-day responsibilities include gathering business requirements, mapping and improving business processes, performing system configuration, conducting testing, and preparing documentation. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, resolving user issues, providing end-user training, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure SAP solutions meet operational and strategic needs. The consultant will also participate in enhancements, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen materials and warehouse management processes.
Qualifications
Strong expertise in SAP Materials Management (SAP MM) and core Materials Management processes.
Experience with SAP Warehouse Management and integration with MM and related modules.
Ability to understand, map, and optimize Business Processes in procurement, inventory, and logistics.
Demonstrated Analytical Skills for problem-solving, data analysis, and process improvement.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, IT, or a related field.
Hands-on experience in SAP implementation, support, or rollout projects in MM/WM.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site with cross-functional teams.
Professional certifications in SAP MM or related modules are an advantage.
