Role Description The Sr. Executive PPIC (Production Planning and Inventory Control) role is a full-time hybrid position based in Dehradun, with some flexibility for work from home. This role is responsible for planning and scheduling pharmaceutical production batches, coordinating with manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Day-to-day activities include monitoring inventory levels, preparing and updating production plans, tracking material consumption, and optimizing stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock. The Sr. Executive PPIC will analyze demand forecasts, prepare reports on production performance and inventory status, and support process improvements for efficiency and cost control. The role also requires adherence to regulatory and company standards, accurate documentation, and active participation in cross-functional coordination meetings.
Qualifications
Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and coordination within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
Experience in inventory control, material management, and stock optimization using relevant tools or ERP systems.
Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and use MS Excel or similar software for demand forecasting and performance tracking.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes, GMP standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a structured approach to documentation and process adherence.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced qualifications in operations or supply chain are an advantage.
Previous experience in PPIC or supply chain roles in the pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
