Stepp’s Towing & Heavy Transport is seeking Heavy-Duty Tow Truck Operators to join our team! We’re looking for candidates with a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and effective problem-solving abilities.

SIGN-ON BONUS OF $2,500
Essential Functions
Operate Heavy Tow Trucks, Rollbacks, and Service Trucks efficiently and safely
Respond to Florida Traffic Incident Management Program calls and RISC
Work safely at accident scenes, often in traffic and all-weather conditions
Cooperate closely with law enforcement and other first responders
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
Operate GPS mapping devices
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Physical Requirements
Lifting, crawling, pulling, constant use of hands, bending, reaching, climbing
Significant physical strength and stamina

Qualifications
Class A CDL with at least 2 years of verifiable experience
Current DOT Medical Card
Proven heavy-duty towing experience preferred
Mechanical knowledge a plus.
Registered in the DOT Clearinghouse
Clean driving record for the last 3 years
Able to pass a background check and drug test
Commission Pay
Graduated commission pay scale starting at 25%
This pay structure should not be misconstrued as a salaried position.
Schedule
12-hour shifts - Monday to Friday
On-Call every 3rd night and every 3rd weekend of the month

Pay Increases
Heavy Duty Towing operators earn a 1% increase each year they’re employed with Stepp’s until they reach 30%.
