The Platform Specialist will handle unique or complex transactions outside of the platform, as needed. This role is an established and productive individual contributor responsible for processing customer transactions and/or updating, correcting, or altering transactions as requested.
What you bring to the role:
The primary focus of this role is to address platform inquiries with speed, accuracy and perform to required service level agreements (SLAs). You will perform transactional functions to support business and associate team members’ requests. Understands Ingram Micro's processes and solutions. Effectively resolve issues with accuracy, tact, and speed. Under moderate supervision, you perform transactional functions and order entry duties. You review and verify the accuracy of the request and transaction and complete the transaction accordingly while supporting platform adoption on Xvantage.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimize business processes.
Accurately transacts on pre-sales, post sales, and order management functions
Generate data quality reports and metrics and provide insights
General support for the team
Adhere to fulfilling metric-based goals
Staying up to date on new processes and enhancements with internal and external tools
Supporting Vendor Operations
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge and application of professional, effective communication techniques and customer care.
Understanding of Ingram Micro programs, services, and products.
Computer skills; Microsoft programs such as Outlook and Excel
Strong organizational skills.
Ability to work as a team member who collaborates effectively
Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
Analyze data to provide meaningful insights and trends.
Able to prioritize and operate with urgency and attention to detail in high volume work environment
Two year college degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 year experience in functional area. OR High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years functional experience, preferably at a senior level. Has substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $43,800.00 - $70,100.00 per year.
The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate’s primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
