Machine Operator I

Overview of Position
The Machine Operator I is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production machinery. This includes monitoring equipment, assisting in changeovers and clean-up activities, performing quality checks, and accurately completing required documentation to support daily production goals.
Job Responsibilities
Operate assigned production equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols
Perform visual quality checks and rework defective products
Assist with equipment cleaning, sanitation, and changeovers
Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization to GMP standards
Accurately complete all necessary production documentation and reports
Follow all safety, quality, and food safety procedures
Scope
Individual contributor role supporting assigned line or machine. No direct reports. Works under direct supervision of Line Leads or Mfg Supervisors.
Knowledge, Education, Skills and Abilities
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Basic math and measurement skills.
Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Prior manufacturing experience a plus, but not required.
The salary range for this position is:
$18.15 - $24.55
