Senior Frontend Developer

🚀 Senior Frontend Engineer | AI | React / TypeScript / Next.js | £80k–£130k + Equity | Remote UK/Europe
I’m working with a YC-backed AI startup building autonomous AI products for some of the world’s largest institutions.
They’re growing quickly following one of the largest Seed rounds in YC history and are now looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Engineer to take real ownership of their frontend product.
There are no traditional Product Managers or Designers sitting between you and the problem. You’ll work directly with the founders, AI and Backend Engineers, understand what customers need, and help decide how the product should actually work.
The company is already live with enterprise customers, growing quickly and expects to add around 10 more Engineers as it heads towards its Series A.
For the right person, the expectation is that you can look at an existing customer journey and say: "This could be better. Here's why, and here's how I'd redesign it."
What you'll be working on:
• React, TypeScript & Next.js
• AI-powered dashboards and conversational interfaces
• Complex workflows and data visualisation
• Design systems, component architecture and UX
• Working directly alongside AI/ML and Backend Engineers
• Using modern AI development tools to ship significantly faster
• Owning features from product thinking → UX → production
Must haves
6+ years of strong React/TypeScript experience
Strong startups and fast-moving product businesses only.
Computer Science (or relevant) degree
You need to be comfortable operating with a lot of autonomy. This environment will suit someone who likes being given a problem rather than a detailed specification.
Package: circa £100k–£130k+ depending on level/location + equity
Location: Fully remote across the UK Europe.
Working pattern: Flexible, although you'll need to be comfortable with later US overlap (6pm UK time meeting) roughly twice per week.
