The Opportunity
As a Product Development Excellence Manager you will lead strategy and transformation work within our Operations Consulting practice, helping clients improve product development and manufacturing performance, streamline processes, and address bottlenecks across the product lifecycle. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior staff, manage client service workstreams, and apply sound judgment to complex issues while bringing structure to planning, budgeting, and delivery. In this role at PwC, you will guide work on speed to market, cost reduction, quality improvement, lean practices, supply chain integration, and digital approaches that support client needs.
Responsibilities
- Leading product development and manufacturing improvement workstreams for client engagements
- Guiding teams in diagnosing lifecycle bottlenecks, process gaps, and cost drivers across product development and production environments
- Translating operational data into strategies that shorten time to market, improve product flow, and strengthen quality outcomes
- Directing planning and delivery of transformation initiatives that combine lean methods, digital tooling, and manufacturing strategy
- Coaching team members on product development, product lifecycle management, and process documentation approaches
- Managing performance, priorities, and deliverables across multiple workstreams while balancing client expectations and timelines
- Reviewing analyses and deliverables to validate alignment with project objectives, methodology, and technical requirements
- Identifying opportunities to apply AI fluency, emerging technologies, and human-centered collaboration to improve operations
- Developing client-facing recommendations across product strategy, product roadmap, product positioning, and go-to-market planning
- Addressing issues, resolving conflicts, and escalating concerns when project risks or delivery obstacles arise
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 5 years of experience

- Demonstrating product development strategy experience in consulting settings
- Managing cross-functional workstreams across product lifecycle stages
- Applying manufacturing strategy and operations improvement methods
- Using analytics, digital tooling, and emerging technologies
- Coaching teams through planning, execution, and issue resolution
- Presenting findings to client leaders and stakeholders

Job Posting End Date
The salary range for this position is: $99,000 - $232,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
